New postdoc in German at Modern Languages

Helga Müllneritsch has begun as a postdoc in German at the Department of Modern Languages.

Helga Müllneritsch was awarded a BA and a MA in German Language and Literature from Universität Graz in Austria, and she presented her doctoral thesis, “Form and Function of the Austrian Manuscript Recipe Book in a European Context” at the University of Liverpool in England in 2019. She has previously worked as Lecturer in German Studies at Bangor University, Wales.

Helga Müllneritsch has a research interest in Manuscript Cookery Books, Book History, female agency and Food Writing in the long eighteenth century. As a postdoc, she will mainly be occupied with research on her project on Female Agency in the Eighteenth Century, but she will also teach in German. Helga Müllneritsch began her employment in December and her postdoc lasts for two years.
